Suit Large style 'golfing / sports' umbrella
Attach small loop end to umbrella ferrule.
Slip adjustable loop over handle onto umbrella shaft
Draw the two loops tight and spring lock hold loop closed around base of handle
To unlock, just pull on the cord, opposite the loose knotted ends. This will draw the lock device onto the umbrella shaft and open the jaws releasing the lock and expanding the loop.
Woven so long enough to fit over a jacket or coat
